Dear Karen,
Thank you for sharing your story. I am glad you have found us again. I will be praying for your Mom and your entire family. I know what it's like to go through a heart-wrenching family feud and have family members who don't know the Lord.
God bless you,

You cannot imagine how very excited I was to find that I could still order the Rycraft cookie stamps I have wanted.  Many years ago I started collecting them for my mother because she used them on a delicious anise cookie that she used to make.  My mother is now 90 years old and lives in assisted living.  Through a very ugly family feud my mother sold all of her possessions before moving without giving any of her children an opportunity to choose things they would want.  One thing I was so sick about was the little cookie stamps I had lovingly collected for her.  They weren’t of huge value but sentimentally they were of enormous value to me and I would have loved to have them back.  You see......none of my family, including my mother, know my Jesus.  It is heartbreaking to have an entire family that is lost.

I purchased two of the stamps I had given my mother and every time I use them and make cookies I am going to pray over those cookies for my mother’s salvation.  Time is running out and I am so very afraid for her.  You have however, restored a small part of my happy memories with her.  God bless you!

Hi, I wanted to let you know that I have only bought 1 stamp from you... to make pasta with actually. It was a very pretty cluster of grapes and I love it. But as I just opened this email and looked through your website more, I saw how strong your Christian faith is. I really admire you and am proud that you are keeping your faith although it isn't popular to do so. I am glad that I purchased from you and will be looking for another stamp soon.
God bless you and your families. :)

Dear Erica,

Thank you for your email. I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I have been sick in bed more than once this past month, so I've gotten behind in my work.

We are Christians, and we are conservatives as you might have guessed, and we believe in our President, Donald Trump. We also believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, and that His Son is Jesus of Nazareth Who died on the cross and was resurrected from the dead (if he did not arise from the dead, then Christianity has no meaning). We believe that the 10 Commandments are the surest foundation on which to raise children... as well as all the commands we are given in the Bible -- specifically the New Testament which is the New Covenant between God and his people -- and His people are those who BELIEVE in Him and His Son, Jesus Christ.

I don't know if you read my testimony -- you can go here if you haven't seen it yet:

I don't know what else to tell you. My heart goes out to you, raising 6 kids alone. I was a single mom for 12 years, so I know what it's like. I hope your husband is at least supporting them financially! Visiting them does not fulfill his obligation as a parent who is equally responsible for bringing them into the world.

I hope you will search for the Truth, for God, because His Word says that if you seek (and keep on seeking), you will find, if you knock (and keep on knocking), the door will be opened unto you. (Luke 11:9,10)

"For in Him we live and move and have our being, as even some of your own poets have said, 'For we also are His children.'" (Acts 17:28)

All paths do NOT lead to God. "There is a way which SEEMS right to a man and appears straight before him, but its end is the way of death." (Proverbs 16:25) There is only 1 way to get to Heaven, to have Eternal Life: Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life... no man comes to the Father but by Me." (John 14:6).

I hope you have a Bible -- if not, you can find one online: the simplest version to read and understand is "The Good News Bible," or another accurate translation is the New International Version, or I especially like the Amplified Version (which is more wordy).

God bless you.

Hello! :)

I found your website through a blog I subscribe to called Shower of Roses. She is a catholic homeschooling mama and her children made some cookies using your stamps to give out for Valentines day.

I was very intrigued with your story and read through the whole thing! I got to the bottom about retirement and coming back in time to vote in the election and was so curious to see who you all voted for! I am only asking because you included that little tidbit in your story so I thought you wouldn't mind sharing.

I myself am a single mama to 6 beautiful children. My husband left the family when I was pregnant with the youngest baby. But he still visits them regularly so that is good. The children and I are about to buy a school bus and convert it into a tiny home to travel a bit around the U.S. to see our beautiful country. We will be homeschooling along the way. I plan on having them learn a lot of the U.S. history as we travel. I am very much looking forward to taking the kids along parts of the Oregon Trail and visiting homesites of Laura Ingalls Wilder. I hope to make it to some Living History museums as well. We come from Washington State but I'm hoping to eventually make our way out across to Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia!

I am building a tiny kitchen on the bus and would love to take along a few of your stamps on our journey. So I was looking through your catalog of those as well! They are all so beautiful! I think I will be getting a few of the more traditional Scandinavian heart styles that would be appropriate for Christmas or Valentines or really any time of the year. I love to bake and I want to share that in the children as well.

Part of this email was to ask about the election and the other was just to tell you what beautiful stamps you make and I look forward to buying some! {regardless of which way was voted :)} I also wanted to let you know that I myself am not a Christian. I grew up in a non denominational household loosely celebrating Christian holidays. I am respectful of all beliefs and try to instill good morals and values in my children. I just never found the basic beliefs of Christianity to ring true to me. There are all kinds of people on the Earth and many of them can be good and Godly even if they don't follow the same path.

Thank you for your time! :)

Hi Kayla,

Yes, Eleanor and Carroll Rycraft were Robin's parents who started the business in 1967. And the stamp you are using is a really early one. You can see some of the oldest stamps on this page:
and you can look for the stamp you have in our Collector's Book online by starting with the link to stamps introduced in 1967 and then scrolling through all the pages year by year to find your great grandmother's stamp. I am so glad you found us! You can go here to read the Rycraft family's story from 1967 to date:

Thank you for sharing with us!
And Merry Christmas!

Oh wow, I just read your story!! I wish I could express to you how special I think it is to have been given the gift of my Great Granny's cookie stamp. As a child, my Great Granny always sent me Christian books. When talking about how excited I was for Christmas, Granny told me, "You know Christmas is Jesus' birthday!" I asked if I could make him a cake and she said "Sure!"

That one small moment with Granny made me think, No one else in my family was a Christian, but her persistence and sweet heart showed me a different way of life. it wasn't until her funeral that I found out she kept a journal and prayed for me and her other children and grandchildren every single day.

Fast forward to the cookie stamp, my Granny's daughter (my Great Aunt) gave me that cookie stamp along with hand-written recipes from Granny as a wedding gift.

I immediately started to cry. I felt and still feel that it is so special that I have something I can pass down from someone who has greatly impacted my legacy.

THEN I decided to look up your company and I found that you are a Christian company and it just gives me chills. Thank you so much for helping to create traditions in families. Thank you for being an inspiration. As a young Christian mama in this crazy world, I am inspired and full of hope to see suc a great company full of traditions and legacy.

Dear Nancy,

Thank you for your lovely email. We have mixed feelings too. Good news! We have found someone to continue selling our imported cookie stamps (in over 70 designs). I will see if she wants to buy our website. If so, then it will all be there for you. If not, then I will keep it up for at least 6 months, maybe longer. We'll see.

Wishing you all the best,

How sad that you are leaving, and no longer will be in business! I wish you well, and God's blessings on your future endeavors! I have cherished all that you have done to create stamps that reflect my Christian faith, and the message you include on your website.

I am wondering if you will still leave the website up, as there is so much information, and recipes, and tips. I hate to think I have to print all that out, before you "leave"!

Thank you so much for your rapid posting of my stamps. I LOVE THEM! I am so happy to get them, I can't wait to try them out. I don't suppose you have one of a Bishop's Mitre? We would love to get one for our cathedral at Goulburn. Thanks so much again and many blessings to you all. May your Christmas be one of peace with our wonderful Lord.

"...The righteous are bold as a lion." (Proverbs 28:1) It brings my heart great joy that you are "proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance" (Acts 28:31) on your site. Way to go Rycrafts!

"I thoroughly enjoyed browsing through your website. I was delighted to read your beautiful witness of your love for the Lord. Thank you for proudly sharing this, especially now when it seems more and more that Christianity is something to shy away from. May the Lord continue to shine through you as you serve Him.

P.S.  I was given a cookie stamp as a gift from a preschool student many years ago. I so enjoy using it!"

"Dear Amy,

Thank you for your email and your kind encouragement. And good luck making the Maple Leaf wreath... it helps to have more than one maple leaf stamp when you have to make so many castings... but one way to do it (if you only have one stamp) is to oil the stamp well so the pulp releases easily from the stamp, and instead of drying the casting right on the stamp, you carefully remove each casting (after patting dry thoroughly to get all the water out) using a sharp knife to peel the pulp off the stamp, and place the castings onto a cookie sheet to place in a slow oven to dry, or put them out in the sun.

Yes I have been wanting Robin to do the entire 12 days of Christmas for a long time, but he never seems to have time to fit it in... perhaps now that we have two part-time employees, he'll have more time to carve. I'll show him your email... it wouldn't be until next year. :)

Happy crafting, and
Best regards,

"Love the explanation of your faith put out for all to see. A brave move in today's business climates. Not nearly as courageous as what Jesus gave for all of us though, is it?

I've just placed my second order from Rycraft and look forward to receiving another beautiful stamp and paper kit; going to try to make Maple Leaf Wreaths; wish me luck! In looking thorough the Christmas stamps selection online, I saw a Partridge in a Pear Tree stamp. It'd be great to have all twelve days of Christmas available - either individually or as a set. Especially given what some believe the meanings to represent. Anyway, they'd be a fun thing to make with kids.

I noticed you've moved recently and am sure you're very busy. Hope much success continues to come your way.

"Dear Dianalyn,

Thank you for your email and your kind comments. Congratulations to your son for his accomplishments! We look forward to working on a custom stamp for his ceremony in June. Do send your artwork this month or next (a .jpg by email is good) and let Robin see what you have in mind so he can discuss it with you.

"I have been looking all over the web and came across several sites that will custom make a cookie stamp for me. I have no idea who to choose until i read your statement about being a Christian and being proud to claim it! That was it I have decided to go with you and hope that you can help me. I know you are not ready until after June 1 and I think that will be ok since my sons GMA ceremony will be in September. My son is part of Royal Rangers which is like boys scouts but through the church! GMA (Gold Medal of Achievement) is the highest award a boy can receive. It's harder to earn than an Eagle Scout from Boy Scouts! I'm very proud of his accomplishments and am hoping to make cookies with the royal ranger emblem and his name and GMA number on it as a favor. I look forward to being in touch after June 1.

"Hi Beth,

Thank you so much for your email and for praying for us during this stressful time. The electrician thinks he found the problem; but we still don't have a solution -- looking for a kiln switch that will carry more amps and haven't found one yet. Robin did find a way to fire the kilns even with the malfunctioning switches so that they don't ruin the stamps, so we're making progress. :)

Yes, you need to fill out the license application here:   /license_application
Just print the form, fill it out and mail it with your check....

I need to know (I forgot all about this) if I need to send you $25.00 to sell cookies with your images on them. Please let me know. We do think your molds are so cute.
Congratulations on the BBC production filmed in Norway.
