#191 – Teddy Bear Mother's Day Card
Clay Casting Project

A FUN project for kids!

Materials Needed:

1 Rycraft cookie stamp or craft stamp #191 – Teddy Bear
Clay - we recommend Creative Paperclay® which is non-toxic and air dries to a paintable pure white
7 clay castings* #191 – Teddy Bear  (see Basic Clay Casting Instructions)
Watercolor markers: purple, pink, yellow, maroon
Construction paper
Scissors and a drinking glass or cup
Paper Edgers® (Seagull)
Tacky glue or glue stick

*Note:  Alternately, the casting for this project may be made from paper instead of clay (see Basic Paper Casting Instructions). The choice is yours.
Instructions:
1. Use pressed ball method (see Basic Clay Casting Instructions) to make casting. Let dry.
2. Use markers to color bear.
3. Cut construction paper in half, and fold one of the two pieces in half to make a card. Trim opening edge with Paper Edgers as shown.
4. Use a glass (or other round object larger than the casting) to trace a circle onto construction paper. Cut out the circle with Paper Edgers. Glue to card.
Glue casting on top of paper circle. Write message on card with markers.
